Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to thank the Kolkata fans after his team stormed into the playoffs of Indian Premier League 2016.
Since Gautam Gambhir took over the reins of Kolkata Knight Riders, he has been making the owners proud. The KKR skipper has already led his team to two IPL titles and is looking set to make it a blockbuster season again with his team.
The skipper, despite not playing international cricket in the recent past, has led the team from the front with his consistent batting performances in Indian Premier League 2016. Last night, in a do-or-die situation against Sunrisers Hyderabad, KKR rode on Yusuf Pathan's 34-ball 52 and stormed into the playoffs.
And the co-owner Shah Rukh Khan is happy yet again with his Knights. The Bollywood star took to Twitter to thank the fans and Cricket Association of Bengal president Sourav Ganguly for his support during the league stages of the season. He also requested the fans to keep supporting them through the playoffs.
